3 weeks from today!

mom is getting HUGE! our dear little girl is scheduled to arrive 3 weeks from today. yikes!

zack already likes to give her kisses...

the best sleeper award goes to...

hopefully, this doesn't jinx things here over at the keenan household, but zack has been the best sleeper lately. he's been snoozing straight from 7pm to 7am (sometimes a bit later!) without making a peep. and the best part is, he greets us in the morning by saying "hiiii...." and flashing his 8-toothed smile. thanks, zack!

goin' on a hayride...

fall just wouldn't be complete without a visit to the local farm (in this case, Tangerini's...) for a hayride, some hot cider, and of course, pumpkins!

zack took his first steps this week -- and though he often has performance anxiety when the camera is out, we managed to capture a few steps here...

zen sushi

we met up with lifelong pal kristen in boston on monday to walk around, enjoy the foliage, and do a bit of shopping. we stopped for lunch at zen sushi, where we had to bundle up in the shade. zack didn't eat much sushi -- just carrots and chicken. maybe next time!

the countdown to meeting zack's baby sister is on! with just over a month to go, we're finally getting her room in order. grandpa dave was nice enough to help out with painting, while tim had the fun task of putting together the crib and changing table. zack gives the crib his stamp of approval!

oh, i love the fall!

what a great day zack had in cambridge -- lunch in harvard square with mom's old boss paula, checking out the sights of harvard yard, and enjoying the gorgeous fall weather in the park with old friends anne and betsy. based on how much he liked the henry moore sculpture, zack might love art as much as mom does...mom gives john harvard's foot a rub for good luck

zack has been quite the toddler these days...cruising all over the place and tearing apart the house as he goes. i think it's the new shoes...

playtown express!

what a great time zack had today with his friends at playtown express. he got to ride around in a bunch of different cars, crawl around all over the place, and even try out a mini roller-coaster. then he went to visit grampy and have a quick lunch. phew! he was tired after this outing...

zack had a wonderful day in boston, visiting with friends valerie, calvin, and edie. he especially loved the ducklings statues in the public gardens. then, he got his first taste of dorm life when we made a visit to have lunch with uncle john at northeastern...
